Dingla Pet Products (“Dingla”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Dingla mobile app, website, shop, and related services.

Account Information
When you create an account or log in, we may collect:

- Phone number
- Login method, such as email/password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or biometric login settings on your device
Address Information
We may collect address details you provide, including:
- Street address
- Suburb
- State
- Postcode
- Country
We use address information for delivery, checkout, council lookup, reward eligibility, and related app features.
Pet Profile Information
If you create pet profiles, we may collect:
- Pet name
- Breed
- Date of birth or age
- Sex
- Weight
- Notes
- Council registration status
- Pet photos
- Vet records and uploaded documents
Uploaded Photos and Files
You may upload photos or files for features such as:
- Pet profiles
- Breed ID
- Health Enquiry
- Vet records
- Referral or QR code scanning
Location Information
If you choose to use nearby services, Dingla may request access to your device location to help find nearby dog parks, vets, groomers, or related pet services.
We only use your location when you choose to use location-based features.
Shopping, Cart, and Checkout Information
Dingla connects with Shopify to support product browsing, cart actions, and checkout. When you use shop or reward-pack features, relevant cart and checkout information may be handled through Shopify.
Dingla does not directly process payment card details in the app. Payments are handled through Shopify checkout or its connected payment providers.
Referral, Council, and Reward Information
We may collect and process referral codes, council codes, council lookup results, reward eligibility, reward claim status, and related activity to support Dingla reward flows.
AI Feature Information
Dingla includes AI-assisted features such as Breed ID and Health Enquiry.
When you use these features, information you provide, such as pet photos, health enquiry text, and related details, may be sent to Dingla’s backend and processed using configured AI services.
AI responses are informational only and are not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency advice.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Provide pet profile and vet record features
- Support referral, council registration, and reward flows
- Add eligible reward packs to your cart
- Provide shopping, cart, and checkout functionality
- Help you find nearby pet services
- Provide Breed ID and Health Enquiry features
- Improve app reliability, security, and user experience
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Detect misuse, fraud, or reward abuse
- Meet legal, operational, and compliance obligations
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Dingla, including:
- Backend hosting and database providers
- Cloud storage providers for uploaded files and pet records
- Shopify for shop, cart, and checkout services
- Google or Apple for sign-in where you choose those login methods
- AI service providers for Breed ID and Health Enquiry processing
- Email or communication providers for account and support messages
- Mapping, address, geocoding, and places providers for location and council lookup features
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Storage and Security
Dingla stores app data using secure backend systems and connected service providers. Uploaded files may be stored using cloud object storage. Cart and checkout data may be handled through Shopify.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
No online service can guarantee complete security.
Biometric Login
If you enable biometric login, Dingla uses your device’s biometric capability, such as fingerprint or Face ID, to help unlock access on that device.
Dingla does not receive or store your biometric fingerprint, face scan, or biometric template. Biometric verification is handled by your device operating system.
Location Permissions
Location access is optional. You can disable location permission through your device settings.
If location permission is disabled, nearby services may not work or may require manual location input.
Camera and Photo Permissions
Dingla may request camera or photo library access so you can:
- Add pet photos
- Use Breed ID
- Use Health Enquiry
- Scan QR or referral codes
- Upload vet record documents
You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Dingla services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and maintain business records.
You may delete your account directly in the app through Settings, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
Children
Dingla is not intended for children under the age required by applicable app store rules or local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
Third-Party Services
Dingla may link to or use third-party services, including Shopify, Google, Apple, mapping providers, and AI service providers. Their own privacy policies may also apply when you use those services.
Your Choices
You can:
- Update account and profile information in the app
- Disable device permissions such as location, camera, and photos
- Log out of your account
- Delete your account directly in the app through Settings > Delete account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, pet profiles, vet records, photos, and associated data.
